Job Posting: Assistant Director for Graduate Recruitment and Retention

The Graduate College at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is seeking an Assistant Director for Graduate Recruitment and Retention who will be responsible for assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies for the Graduate College (GC). The Assistant Director for Graduate Recruitment and Retention is responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, and evaluating recruitment and retention strategies for the Graduate College (GC) at UIC. This position will expand a diverse pipeline of applicants by fostering long-term relationships with colleges and universities that serve talented underrepresented students (African American, Hispanic/Latino American, and Native American). This position will spend 40% of the time coordinating recruitment activities and collaborations with the UIC Urban Health Program (UHP). In the remaining time, the Assistant Director will be responsible for retention activities and services to enhance the academic success of students recruited by the GC.
