Attention International Graduate Students,

If you want to improve your English speaking, listening, pronunciation, and presentation skills for academic and professional contexts, we have some great news for you! The International Teaching Assistant Program (ITAP) still has some seats available in our English development course for current and future ITAs: GC 510 semester: Oral Communication for International Teaching Assistants. This course is listed in the Graduate College and is open to ALL non-native English-speaking graduate students in good standing. Credits apply toward full and part-time enrollment status, and no auditing is permitted. All classes will be held IN-PERSON in classrooms located in the Students Services Building (SSB), 1200 West Harrison St. (Room 1180 or 2790 SSB)

If you are a current or prospective international TA who wants to learn how to communicate more effectively as an instructor at UIC, then GC 510 is for you!
