Illinois African American and Latino [IALHEA] Diversity Dialogue and Research

This event was last held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the UIC Forum 725 W. Roosevelt, Chicago, IL 60607. The conference theme was “The Health Status of African Americans & Latinos: The Affordable Care Act, Progress & Challenges” Dr. Aida Giachello from Northwestern University was the Dialogue Keynote Speaker. The purpose of this event was to build a community of scholars, share best practices, and to showcase the scholarly work of underrepresented students from Illinois.
