The NSF GRFP is a prestigious five-year fellowship that provides three years of financial support with an annual stipend of $37,000 [concurrent TA/RA appointments are permitted]. The new GRFP application cycle, for funding starting in the 2025-26 academic year, starts soon. Come learn how GRFP can help you pave the way to your graduate studies and hear from current fellows at UIC.
Rising seniors, matriculating first-year, and rising second-year graduate students who are US citizens in STEM, STEM education, and certain social sciences (e.g., anthropology, sociology, and CLJ)** may attend either session. Students can attend via Zoom or in UH650 (capacity permitting). Lunch will be provided for those attending in person. Please RSVP so that we can pre-order the correct amount of food or provide you with the Zoom link.
