Panelists will address how they used their degrees and training to prepare them for their current positions and any advice they can give to current graduate students. Plenty of time will be given for questions.
This event is free and open to the UIC community and is a part of the CIRTL Network’s “The Joyful Journey: Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholar Professional Development Series".
UIC’s Graduate College and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence have partnered to establish UIC as a member of The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL), a national network to provide professional development opportunities for graduate students and postdocs interested in academic careers.
