UIC Graduate College Fair
About
The UIC Graduate College is hosting our inaugural Graduate College Fair! This will be an opportunity for students at UIC and the Chicago-land area to explore the various graduate programs that UIC has to offer.
Through this event UIC graduate programs will provide insights about their application process, faculty, ongoing research, and various opportunities available to you as a graduate student.
Students should expect to meet representatives from the UIC graduate programs that they are interested in pursuing. In addition, there will be various breakout sessions held throughout the day to learn more about what graduate school may entail and more!

Registration is free and includes a table with 2 chairs. The Graduate College encourages UIC graduate programs and UIC college recruiters to register.

In addition to tabling, UIC graduate programs have the unique opportunity to share more in-depth information about their program via a breakout session. To indicate interest in hosting a breakout session please register using the form below. These breakout sessions will be happening during October 16 at various times.

| Graduate Business Programs and You | The UIC Business Graduate School offers an exciting selection of master's degree options taught by faculty experts and industry professionals. Full-time, part-time and weeknight program options ensure the flexibility you need to complete your graduate degree at a pace that matches your lifestyle. Our session includes a brief presentation from admissions representatives and will follow up with a question-and-answer session to ensure you have all the information you need to move forward in the application process. | 11AM |
| Pathways to Graduate Nursing: Advancing your Future with UIC Nursing | Explore how UIC Nursing’s graduate and professional programs can help you take the next step in your nursing journey—whether you’re just starting out or ready to specialize, lead, or teach. This session will walk you through our MSN, DNP, and PhD options, including entry points for non-nurses, practicing RNs, and APRNs. Learn how our nationally ranked programs prepare you to meet the evolving demands of healthcare while advancing your career in clinical practice, leadership, or research. | 11AM |
| Applying to Law School | We will walk attendees through the process and experience of applying to law school. While this will be specific to UIC Law, it will also be high level enough to support students applying to a law school of their choice. | 12PM |
| Pathways to Health Care Professions: Medical School, Clinical Trials, and Drug Development | Detailed description of the Master's programs in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics (Medical Physiology and Physiology for Therapeutic Development). The Master's program provide a pathway to health care professions via professional school advancement, clinical trials and drug development. Session will include a alumni from the programs to discuss experience on the program with prospective students. | 12PM |
| Admission to the PharmD Program | Learn all about the PharmD Program and the admission/application process. | 1PM |
| PSCI Faculty and Student Panel | Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD program overview: program mentors and current students will attend to answer questions about the admission process, program structure, research opportunities, and career path. | 1PM |
| Let's Talk OT -- For real, it's kinda awesome! | Get the real scoop on OT — what OTs do, why it matters, and how they make a difference in people’s lives every day. This session will give you a fun, honest, and hands-on look at the world of Occupational Therapy. Come see why OT is awesome! | 2PM |
