Graduate Students,

Ask yourself:

*   Could you explain your 5-year plan in one sentence, or does the question make you want to hide under your desk?
*   Are you building the skills you'll need after graduate school, or just surviving this semester?
*   If your dream job posting appeared tomorrow, would you be ready to apply?
*   When was the last time you talked with your advisor about you, not just your research?

Graduate school moves fast, and it's easy to get so focused on the next deadline that you lose sight of the bigger picture. Our Individual Development Plan (IDP) workshop helps you step back, take stock of your strengths, name your goals, and map out concrete steps to get there—whether you're aiming for a career beyond academia or within it, or perhaps you're still figuring it all out.

Join the Graduate Student Success team for an interactive IDP workshop where you'll assess your skills, interests, values, and explore career possibilities. You will initiate a personalized plan that you can bring to your next advisor meeting. No prep required: just bring your curiosity.
