Jorge Cham Film - 2nd Screening

Save the Date, October 26, 2011

Due to an overwhelming response of graduate student interest, the UIC Graduate College will be hosting a second screening of The PHD Movie. The film is written, produced and directed by Jorge Cham, creator of Piled Higher and Deeper, a grad student comic strip, and the students, staff and faculty at the California Institute of Technology. It stars real Ph.D. students and addresses themes common to all grad students: the pressures of academia, finding a balance between research and your personal life and persevering through difficult situations; all with a whimsical and sharp sense of humor.
