Graduate Assistant (GA) Tuition Waiver Taxation Overview Sessions
The University Payroll and Benefits (UPB) office is offering overview sessions on the taxation of tuition waivers for employees and students who receive graduate-level tuition waivers valued more than $5,250, and those who work with these individuals. This taxation does not apply to qualified Teaching Assistants (TA) or Research Assistants (RA), only to Graduate Assistants (GA). You will need to register (see above link).

The Graduate College has established an Emergency Grant to provide financial help to graduate students who may experience acute, unexpected problems that are of a short-term nature. Further information, including an application form may be found here.
